In fact, about 42% of children between two and eleven years old have a cavity in their teeth. Furthermore, 28% of children who are between two and five will have at least one cavity. Fortunately, there are several things you can do to help your little one avoid these issues.
For instance, you probably understand that brushing is important if you’d like to keep your child’s teeth healthy. You should also remember to floss once their teeth start to touch. However, please remember that you’ll need to brush your child’s teeth until they can brush on their own. However, after they start brushing on their own, you’ll need to supervise them until they’re able to clean their mouth thoroughly.
As you might have guessed, the foods your child eats can also impact their oral health. If your child eats processed foods, they’ll be more likely to have tooth decay. Of course, you can help your child avoid this problem by giving them plenty of fruits and vegetables.
